Synergy Maritime Entrance Test – 2025
The GME Sponsorship Exam will be conducted from June 1–30, 2025, across various cities in India in an on-demand model.
The last date to register for the exams is June 15, 2025. We encourage you to complete your registration before the deadline to ensure your participation.
Further instructions regarding the scheduling of the exams and additional details will be shared with you in due course.
Entrance Exam for Sponsoring of Mechanical engineering Graduates for Graduate Marine Engineer (GME) program.
Eligibility:
- Should have been born on or after 1st December 1997
- As of commencement of course the candidate should not be more than 28 years of age
- Should have scored a minimum 60% Overall Aggregate in Class XII
- Should have obtained a minimum 50% marks in English in Class XIIor equivalent.
- Should have completed B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate OR
- Should be appearing in the final semester exam of B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering. Kindly note that selection is subject to meeting the minimum criteria of 60% in the results.
- Candidates who have completed a degree in any Naval Architecture streams can also apply but must meet minimum requirement of 60% overall degree percentage.
Examination syllabus for Recruitment of Graduate Marine Sponsorship EXAM 2025:
- The examination will be in an online format with a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes).
- The examination will be of the objective type comprising of 200 questions.
- A total of 100 questions will test technical knowledge and 100 questions to test English and aptitude.
- Each correctly answered question is awarded 1 mark. There is a negative marking of0.25 mark for every wrong answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions

- 100 MCQ – (Mechanical Engineering)
Section B – English and Aptitude
- 100 MCQ (Numerical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, Verbal Reasoning, Nonverbal reasoning (Spatial and Abstract Reasoning) and English)
